Don't get me wrong. Some of the old established sites are still going strong, but as admin of over 200 safelists, I see very little growth on the old sites. Lots of members, but old technology, and CTRs for ACTIVE TRAFFIC (credit mails and solo ads) are dismal. CTRs for PASSIVE TRAFFIC ads (banners and text ads) are non-existent. Lots of dead ads clog the queues so YOUR ads never make it tom the top of the rotation.
On the other side of the coin, you have new start-up sites. New technology. These have may very few members BUT you get ACTIVE MEMBERS with FRESH EYES looking at your ads. Ads show in rotation much faster because these sites don't have the baggage of literally thousands of dead or outdated ads in the queue.
